Hello and Welcome to our Help & FAQ's Section


As with all things new - there are always a few teething problems and we are no exception.
As a non profit organisation we rely on the help of volunteers, so whilst we are endeavouring to iron out all the little Gremlins - please bear with us!!


Below are a few topics which may be of help - based on the feedback we have received from members already.

Invisible Text In Login Box

This is a feature which we are currently looking to resolve and in time you should be able to see your details as you type them in.
For the meantime however you can check your typing by highlighting the text you have entered as indicated below

Note : The Password field will always be populated with ............. this is a security feature to protect our users

In order to use some of the Member areas of the site - you will first need to register as a member.

Using the login form on the front page - click on 'Create and Account' ( as shown below )

You will then be directed to the following screen - to register your details

Please note - due to current technical difficulties, you will not automatically recieve a message on the website indicating a successfull registration.

Please check your email inbox as if successfull you will have received a notification email - asking you to follow an attached link for account activation.

If you do not recieve this email - then there has been a problem during the registration process. In this instance please email use here and we will endevour to resolve the issue.

Top menu issues

We have had a few members / visitors who have had trouble using the menu across the top of the main page.

We are undertaking various tests in Internet Explorer and Firefox to find the source of the problem.

To view the top menu you will need up to date versions of both Java and Flash Player

How Do I Submit a Story ?

To submit a story - you first have to have registered as a member.

Once registered - login to your account and select the following from the menu on the left

This will take you to the story submission page.

Your username will automaticaly be placed in the author section.

The first step then is to give your story a title.

Once you have a title - the next step is to write your story. You can do this in the space provided below the title section.

If you are happy with your story then you can finish and send us the story by clicking the 'submit' button

We will then recieve your story and this should appear in the 'Members Stories' section within a maximum of 48 hours

If you would like to submit a picture to go with your story then you should take the following steps before clicking 'submit'

Using the 'browse' function at the foot of the page - browse your PC for the photo you would like to include. To ensure we can identify the photo to go with your story - please name this photo file with the title of your story.

Once you have selected your photo and are happy - click on 'submit'. Your story will be submitted and your photo will be linked to your story.
